Maggie was a senior soccer player who was heavily recruited by a school in North Carolina. Unfortunately, they failed to offer her a scholarship and didn't tell her they would not until after January of her senior year. She came to SportsWorx, got a match in the database from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA, and contacted the coach. After her visit two weeks later, they offered her a scholarship worth in excess of $12,000. Maggie had not even made all district for her high school soccer team!
"Guess what??? I went to Armstrong Atlantic in Savannah this weekend and committed. The campus and city was amazing. I just want to thank SportsWorx so much for your help. I got a pretty good scholarship as well!!"

Ryan started working with us during his junior season. He received dozens of matches with different schools on the SportsWorx database, but wanted to stay close to home for college. After identifying the assets available and doggedly pursuing his limited options (not many schools), Ryan was able to achieve his dream.
"It appears we have reached our goal with Mike Byrnes and La. College. Ryan will be offered an opportunity to play for the LC baseball program. I believe we achieved this milestone by the help and relentless effort of SportsWorx, coaches and other community members, and we are extremely grateful."

Jenna came to us prior to her senior year in high school. After following the evaluation and research program, Jenna contacted the coaches at Christian Brothers University, a Division II school in Memphis, TN. They saw her play for her club volleyball team, and offered her a full scholarship, worth in excess of $40,000.00 per year.
I verbally committed to CBU tonite. I just really feel like this is the best thing for me. Thank you for all your help. You have really helped me handle all of this. The coach is excited and so am I.

Mike,
Thanks for all of your help. I hope I can get some more kids hooked up with you. Josh has been enjoying the attention from colleges and I hope that it works out for him.

I would like to take a moment to thank Mike Madura and Sportsworx for everything you have done for us. Without you, our son Bob, would not be attending college or be living out one of his childhood dreams of playing college baseball. Bob never got the chance to play high school baseball and he is so thankful for this opportunity to be able to continue his education and play the sport that he loves. We never knew that the scholarship money was out there and available. We are so thrilled!!!!
Bob is getting the chance of a lifetime, he'll be playing in Arkansas and also in Minneapolis in the Metro-dome. None of this would have been possible for him without Mike and Sportsworx. So again, THANK YOU very much for giving my son a chance to live out his dreams.
Sincerely,
Bob and Dina Bremer
"Your help and encouragement did it for us! You kept telling me it wasn't too late and that there was still scholarship money out there. Even though my son never played a single high school varsity game, his stats with his Little League program and AAU was all we needed. When the offer came through, we were shocked but thrilled. We went and visited the school and signed immediately. Practice started two weeks ago and school last week. My son didn't think he would get the opportunity to pursue his dream. But you and Sportsworx have opened the doors. The coaches are happy with him and he is playing baseball. They made the right choice and so did we. Thank you Sue and Sportsworx."

Dear Doug,
Thanks so much for the help in the soccer recruiting process for Caroline. Your direct involvement, especially introducing us to certain coaches through the clinic and camp process allowed us to meet certain coaches and has proven to be extremely valuable. She has considered offers from three different schools both Div.1 and Div.3, and she has just this week decided to play for Rhodes College in Tennessee. It is exciting that she will be able to fulfill her dream of playing soccer in college. Again, thank you. Your involvement helped us meet the right people and make her dream a reality. It was well worth the investment.
Thanks,

Hello Todd. Thanks for the e-mail. My son received a partial or half athletic scholarship at University of Arkansas - Monticello. They will pay his tuition and we will take care of the room and board. I am happy with that. If he takes care of business and meets or exceeds their expectations then he would be in line for a full scholarship next year.
I would like to mention a few things during the recruiting process that helped us. If an athlete can attend a camp for his/her particular sport it could be very beneficial. For example, we had Jonathan attend the Jay Novacek Football Camp in July 2003. Also with respect to tapes in my opinion it would be good to have one 5 to 10 minute high light tape and one separate tape that includes a full game or two. This lets the college coaches see good and bad habits, etc. and not just the highlights.
And it is very important to start early. I was amazed at how many scholarships were already filled by the national signing day. Those colleges that still have scholarships left are usually looking for positions that will help their team. Jonathan is an Offensive/Defensive lineman and Arkansas had a need for one. His goal was to play for a Division I team but the competition is very tough especially if you come from a small high school. One more thing Todd, I wish all high school head coaches could attend a one day seminar on college recruiting to be more informed on how to help prospective college athletes.
I'll keep your website on my favorites list.

Stacey,
Thank you for the info. I will be sending you some more information shortly. If you have a videotape that you can send, that will be a huge help in allowing us to further evaluate your talents.
